FEMA Coordinating Officer & DEMHS Region 5 Coordinator joined me in the Town of Southbury to offer support as they assess damages and lay out timelines. Unfortunately, Southbury has experienced several weather related events in recent years- but as both coordinators stated this has helped FS Manville to understand what is required and do a great job of documenting and navigating the federal process. Recovery will take time and residents should continue to report all damage to the town’s Emergency Management Coordinator.
