I visited the site of another community project I secured for the district - a Childcare Incubator to help address the growing need for childcare in this community.
This program run by the New Britain YWCA will support and train individuals to open and operate their own family childcare business; and prepare them to successfully move to an independent location once their tenure in the incubator is complete.
