WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Jahana Hayes releases statement on the H.R. 2062 Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act:
"I support the Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act of 2021, bipartisan legislation to level the playing field for older Americans in the workplace," said Congresswoman Hayes. "This legislation will protect Americans from discrimination in the workplace, who may need to return to work from retirement to support their families, and work years beyond retirement age to stave off poverty. Age discrimination should not discourage Americans from providing for themselves."
